Join us on June 4th for a magical afternoon. This in-person, fun-filled event is suitable for all ages. Tickets are only $95 for the whole family. Can’t attend? Sponsor one of our foster families or youth to attend.

Every year we spread holiday cheer to our children and youth in foster care. In 2021, we collected more than 200 new toys and 100 gift cards for our children and youth in care.

Embracing Oceans hosted a concert benefitting children and youth in foster care on September 25th, 2021.

Embracing Oceans is a band comprised of musicians Edi Roque and Skye Butterfield.  The duo embraces the freedom of sound and is not bound by a single genre. We are grateful of their continuous support of ExtraFam and our children and youth in care!

In September, we participated in a group fundraising campaign, @longbeachgives, to bring awareness to the monumental services nonprofits bring to the Long Beach community. We raised more than $800 and appreciate your support of children and youth in Long Beach area. ❤️

Magic Castle Magician Brandon Scott performed a virtual show to benefit children and youth in foster care in June 2021. Every child currently placed in care was extended a free invite and attendees received an interactive magic box to accompany the event! 

In honor of Foster Care Month in May 2021, legendary guitarist, Steve Vai hosted a giveaway sweepstakes to raise support for our children and youth in foster care.

In March, we raised awareness for children and youth in foster care in LA County. We came together with some of our biggest supporters to raise money for therapy toys and basic essentials kits for our children and youth.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Judges, Michelle Visage and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, raised foster care and adoption awareness and shared their own personal adoption stories.

Due to COVID-19, our Annual Holiday Party went virtual! Our children in foster care had a blast meeting Santa, singing to holiday classics, and searching for cookies during our I-Spy game.
